That's why we allowed our cantilever umbrella stand can be filled with either water or a water/sand mixture to best need your family's needs. Filled with a water/sand mix, the max capacity is 220 lbs total (55 lbs per section). Filled with water, the max weight capacity is 148 lbs (37 lbs per section).
• SET IT AND FORGET IT: We designed each spout to accept either water or sand and placed them on the side of each section. This makes our cantilever umbrella base not only easy to fill but super easy to drain if you end up needing to move it.
